It skips 10 ton trucks better than I skip rocks.

It’s just an 80,000 lbs sled. Not actually a truck.

Can they do this for the Red Bull Flugtag?

Ok, gimme a second. I’m trying to think of a quasi-useful way to make use of this in warfare other than testing the catapult. Because catapult warfare needs to make a comeback, obviously.
The best thing I can think of is pulling into an enemy harbor and skipping trucks at the docks - which is kind of like a really high-tech way of mooning the enemy and just pointlessly being a douchebag.

Dying to know what the body damage from a water impact at that speed would look like.

They recover and reuse the sled, so I’d imagine not too much. Wouldn’t be shocked if they need to replace wheels/axles though, one would imagine they are not as sturdy as the giant block of steel that is the body of the sled.
